RELIGION, CULTURE & NORMS

It was post World War 2, all the corners were filled with wreckage's and damages, hunger was hitting the whole nation, and people were suffering from post war traumas and disabilities. Dead bodies were scattered all around, there was a soldier tall and tough completing his final task in his uniform checking for rescues. As he was standing by a building he felt someone pulling his pants, as he looked down a little girl who was around 4 years with a wound on her forehead and torn cloths was pulling his pants , the soldier bend down to her asking what brought her to him ? And she replied: "hungry”!!!! he carried her and got into a nearby half wrecked cake store which was still operating and bought the girl a small cake , he left her by the shop and went across the road looking back as she was eating it, after a while someone pulled his pants again and when he looked down it was the same little girl again ! He bended down and asked her what now?

And she calmly asked him ………SIR ARE YOU GOD????????????????????

Before explaining my view on religion , culture and norms I would like to stress a few points out which are firstly this point of view is only for sharing purposes and does’nt has any intentions on implicating my views on the readers. Secondly readers are advised to read with an open mind and without any biases. Thirdly as the writer I am not an atheist but a different and practical thinker focusing on the humanistic scope

Basically any religion, culture and norms direct individuals to be a better person but People are more on to the secular front these days neglecting virtues and values. These are the same individuals who misuse the beautifully formed religion to their personal agenda.
It’s a clear-cut fact that development and religion, culture or norms are two different aspects in life and they rarely get along or merge, this makes people stranded in the way by not following or either and left behind.

It is really sad that today people are going towards secularism, worst is that those who are supposed to keep up the religion too are caught up with this dilemma. Many fail to realize that today religion, culture and norms are sidelining from their fundamental cause which is to keep humanism intact among humanism yet many animal like acts are clearly seen these days.
Today religion, culture and norms are tools for irresponsible yet smart individuals who utilize it as a source of income or as a way to get their cronies or community will to be do done and prevailed. This sidelining is so carefully happening that it is still transparent and becomes the reason of its existence in the society.

No one has the initiative or time to think where is this misleading act is leading to? Well the answer is for sure to some disastrous human culture where in another 60 years people might not know what these religion, culture and norms are meant for or perhaps people might not even know what humanism means. Well obviously we don’t have Jesus Christ nor Buddha Nor Prophets walking down the streets showing and teaching kindness and humanism to people these days, but it was rather better in those days where people meant what they said and did and they also had humanism virtues in them such as kindness and compassion which is rather rare these days.

Of course getting to start it all over again is out of the question, then what else is going to be the alternative to this problem? The answer is that the mindset of individuals who are victimized by ad versed religion, culture and norms have to be changed.

Peoples mentality on religion and other aspects that are related to it should be reorganized yet upgraded to be more practical and empirical so that it will not be a reason for people from holding back from development and at the same time prevent themselves from forgetting the fundamental of human kind which is humanity itself.

"LOVE IS GOD, SHOWING LOVE IS WHAT MAN SHOULD DO TO ACKNOWLEDGE GOD, LET RELIGION RESEMBLE THAT LOVE FOR ALL THINGS, NOT SECULARISM"

Just sharing a thought
